Let’s get connected.
You’ll need Toss on your iPhone and computer, plus the setup key from your invitation.
Set up your computer
- Download Toss. On a Mac, move Toss to Applications and open it.
- Follow the setup checks to enable SSH and allow access to the folders you want to use.
- Enter your private setup key to connect to the Toss service. Keep this key to yourself.
The Mac download is signed and notarized. Windows downloads are unsigned previews; testing on Windows hardware is still pending.
Pair your iPhone
- Install Toss using the TestFlight link in your invitation.
- In Toss, tap Add computer → Scan QR code. Scan the code shown in desktop Toss.
- Enter your computer account’s username and password, then confirm its SSH identity.
Your computer needs to stay awake, online, and running Toss for remote access. Your iPhone can use Wi-Fi or cellular.
If a connection fails
Open desktop Toss and check its connection status and setup checks. If the computer is unavailable, wake it and reconnect. If pairing expired, scan the new QR code. You can revoke a phone from desktop Toss and pair it again.
If Desktop or Documents won’t open on a Mac, check the Remote Login permissions in System Settings → General → Sharing. Only grant access to accounts you trust.
If Toss shows a service or usage-limit message, contact support. Repeatedly pairing won’t fix a service outage or reset an allowance.
Tell us what happened
Use Send Beta Feedback in TestFlight, or email danieldavydov0@gmail.com. Include your Toss build number, computer platform, and what you were trying to do. A screenshot of the error helps.
Please keep passwords, pairing codes, and setup keys out of screenshots and feedback.
